Alvigo (Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride) is an orally active, H1 -receptor antagonist. It is the R -enantiomer of cetirizine hydrochloride. Levocetirizine dihydrochloride is a white, crystalline powder that is freely soluble in water.
Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis: Alvigo is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and children 2 years of age and older.
Perennial Allergic Rhinitis: Alvigo is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with perennial allergic rhinitis in adults a nd children 6 mont hs of age and older.
Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria: Alvigo is indi cated for the treatment of the uncompl icated skin manifestations of chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults and children 6 months of age and older.
