Adults: Lamonil is indicated for use as adjunctive therapy or monotherapy in the treatment of epilepsy for:
Partial seizures
Generalized seizures, including tonic-clonic seizures
Seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome
Children: Lamonil is indicated as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of epilepsy for:
Partial seizures
Generalized seizures, including tonic-clonic seizures
Seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome
Therapy Transition Note: Once epileptic control is achieved during adjunctive therapy, concomitant antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) may be withdrawn to continue the patient on Lamonil monotherapy.
